Intermediate Digital Imaging Summer School [Uni of Southern Queensland]
This intermediate level class in Photoshop is designed for those who have familiarised themselves with some of the basics of Photoshop and want to increase their skills and learn image manipulation techniques that allow you to work more accurately and quickly. We will begin with many techniques already covered in books and fine tune them before steadily progressing from there. Students learn at different rates so an emphasis is placed on one to one tuition throughout the workshop. The tutor supplies images and tutorials on a CD for the workshop but allows sufficient time for the students to work on their own images. Students should bring their own computers with Photoshop no older than version 7.0 installed, not just elements, and have sufficient HDD (hard drive) space. Computers need to be defraged and virus free. Printers are also required so prints can be made for the exhibition at the end of the workshop. Students who don't own Photoshop can download the 30 day trial version prior to attending.
