PassionforPixels.com and extra benefits for Members

This site is provided to all members for the benefits of their development of photography.  We do this by providing resources to them to use freely.  These resources are provided free, although it does cost to run a site like this and continue to provide these resources to you.  The owner/administrator is continually developing the site to ensure that the needs of our members are meet in a timely manner.

If you feel that the site provides you with a benefit, please consider making a donation to help keep the site online, those that do make donations do receive benefits back for their thoughtfulness toward the site.

You will have access to the further areas of the site, be able to enter and be eligible for competitions ever month (Feb - Nov) and also toward the end of year results. You can vote on other members competition entries as well.  All members are able to participate in albums that critique your images and help to grow your photography skills and experience.  Participation in forums covering most things to do with photography, though there are other forums where you can interact with other members socially as well.

Members who do make a donation are also able to start a post in our "For Sale" forum as well as ask about items that might be for sale that haven't been put up as yet by another member.  All members are able to reply to forum threads in this forum, though being a donation member also shows that you are interested in supporting the site as well, not just here looking for gear or to sell your gear which has been the case in the past.  This is to ensure that members are genuine and help protect all members as well.

Donation members also have a higher length for their signature ability in your profiles, higher PM counts and are able to interact with other members easier as well.

So being a member who makes a donation does have its benefits to you, compared to just being a registered member. So please think about making a donation toward the site, if you can.
