Passion for Pixels is PRIVATELY OWNED. Access is not a "right" and while healthy debate is encouraged, the forums are not a venue for uninhibited "free speech".  Just like normal debating rules, members here are expected to adhere to the rules and may be ejected if they don't.

Hostile, abusive, and offensive conduct is prohibited, as is flaming or trolling (i.e. deliberately picking fights with other members).  When debating, be civil at all times and debate the point, not the person. We will usually provide a warning but continued violation of the rules is likely to result in more stringent actions being taken.

The Owner/Administrator delegates authority to a team of Moderators who assist with management of the forums and galleries as well as site content. The decision of a Moderator is binding unless the Administrator overrules the Moderator.   Do not post public criticism about the Moderators. Forum moderators are volunteers and abide by the guidelines set down by the Administrators.  If you have an issue with the actions of one or more Moderators, direct all correspondence to the Owner/Administrator of this site who will deal with your issues off Forum.   Administrators and Moderators have set rules to follow and will adhere to those rules as required to by the Owner of the site.

The Owner and or Administrator(s) reserve the right to access any/or all content that you transmit using the site, or that may be stored within the site and it's databases.

1. Members are required to provide a user-name (without special characters in them like "~" as example), secure password (with upper/lower case letter, numbers and symbols), a valid email address (not a free hotmail, yahoo, or similar others unless discussed with the owner first), their complete full names (not the same as user-name unless they use their full name as their username) and are entitled to only one account. These details are only available to Admins of this site to view, members are shown limited information regarding other members. Duplicate accounts will be deleted. If a member is found to be actively using multiple accounts they may be removed from membership with no recourse to any benefits gained.
2. All information that you disclose becomes public information and caution should be exercised when deciding to share any of your personal information or discussing another person, website or organisation. Information and any advice given is the opinion of the member. We suggest that members seek professional advice from the relevant persons (Australian Taxation Office/Accountant/Banker etc). The Owner, Administrators and Moderators take no responsibility for any effect of a member using advice given in any thread or post on PassionforPixels.com.
3. All images uploaded by a member to any PassionForPixels gallery must be the work of the author. PassionForPixels takes no responsibility for images that breach copyright. Images deemed inappropriate for any reason, including oversize, will be deleted. All images posted on this site will at all times, remain the property of the original owner of the image, as well as reworks to those images by other members to ensure their copyright is maintained. Anyone found to be breaching the copyright of members will be permanently banned from the site.
4. Members are encouraged to provide constructive comments on images. If a member uploads an image to one of the critique galleries there is an expectation that they will provide a constructive comment on other images in the same gallery. There is no limit to the numbers of critiques that a member can make, but please ensure they are constructive and educational to the owner of the image as well as other members reading the critiques.
5. Glamour shots and nudes are acceptable but only in the Figures Studies Gallery which members are required to request access to, by contacting an Administrator of the site. In your request please ensure that you give a link to your own work or a reason for this request as not all requests are actioned in favour of the requester. Pornographic Images or images deemed to be distasteful by the Owner/Administration of this site, will be removed, the poster will be informed of this breach and any further breech will have a ban imposed on that member without further notice to that member.
6. Data submitted to our forums and galleries that constitute a violation of our policies, breaches copyright or is considered to be inappropriate for any reason will be deleted.
7. Details of warez, serialz or other items regarding piracy or breach of copyright may neither be requested nor discussed. Instances of this may cause instant banning from the site.
8. Advertisements for goods or services you sell commercially must not be included in forum posts, signatures or galleries without first obtaining permission from the administrator.
9. Links or pointers to other websites and references to products and services offered by third parties are provided to you for convenience only and do not constitute an endorsement or approval by us of:
   
   (a) the organisations that operate such websites;
   (b) the content, privacy policies or other terms of use on such websites; or
   (c) such third party products and services.
   
   As we have no control or responsibility over websites or content maintained by other organizations, or for products and services offered by third parties, we do not assume any liability for your use of any of the foregoing, which use you acknowledge and agree shall be at your own risk.
10. Members must not behave in a way that could be construed as an attack on the site. This includes hacking the site via back-end or front-end, DOS attacks and similar criminal attacks. It also includes using the software to manipulate the site to your own agenda e.g. "flame-bait" postings, multiple postings over a short period of time, identical or similar repeat postings. Such behaviour may result in the immediate termination of your account.
    
    Passion for Pixels maintains a "zero tolerance" policy in regard to hacking or spamming on or from this site. This includes the use of software to manipulate the site, perform automatic registrations or to make multiple postings over a short period of time. Such behaviour may result in the immediate termination of your account and/or the permanent banning of your IP address.
11. Under no circumstances will the Owner of PassionforPixels.com, Site Administrators or Moderators be liable in any way for any content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted or made available in any other way via the website.
12. Signatures in forums are not to include commercial advertising, images, excessive self promotion links and are to be no longer than 4 lines in length.

As these Terms of Use may change periodically, it is the responsibility of members to ensure that they are at all times familiar with them whenever using the site.
