Fuji Japan has announced that from April it will cease making its Quickload films. These are Quickload Pro 160S, Provia 100F, Velvia 100 and Velvia 50. In Europe that have enough of these in storage for 12 months. Don't know what the situation for Australia is though.

February Competition Winners Announced Well it was a very interesting start to the Years competitions, and again there are a lot of excellent images presented in them. We all know that Set Subject Competitions are the hardest and often contentious environments to enter and the first one I would think was maybe not as easy as people may have thought.

Shutterbug – Call for entries.
Shutterbug Photography Festival, now in its fourth year, is open for submissions from any photographer earning under $20,000 per year. As well as a prize pool of $10,000, 15 finalists will have their work shown on the big screen at the huge Shutterbug Projection night 20th July 2010. Submissions can be made online from January 1st until 30th May 2010. Entry is $25 which includes as many entries as you would like to enter.
